Andrew Vanden Heuvel: online physics and Google Glass

We talked with Andrew about how he approaches a few of the fully online courses he teaches. He showed how he structures the class, and we talked about synchronous vs asynchronous issues, motivation, technology requirements, and online labs.

He also shared how he’s been playing with his Google Glass prototypes, including using them for hisĀ STEMBites initiative.

Here’s the recording.

We’re now taking a break for the summer. If you have thoughts about topics/issues/speakers for the fall, please email Andy (andy.rundquist@gmail.com)
